  Fact: You've been reading magazines again. Seriously, the man/woman hating concept is more a product of BDSM media, and certain political agendas, than reality. There are many web sites that cater specifically to the woman or man as bitch/bastard and the slaves as helpless, and "forced against their will although they really want it", servants. While that may be a fantasy for some, it can be perceived as an all encompassing scene reality to many since the distinction between the two isn't made. The flip side of this myth is that submissives are weak willed doormats who allow themselves to be coerced into anything the dominates wants. This is another product of media, both BDSM and vanilla, where the sub is seen as victim, not consensual partner. Does all this mean that no one in the scene has ever been a man/women hater? No, but those people are quickly recognized as such and have very few, if any, play partners

  This is what BDSM should be like. However, according to my experience as a submissive, many dominant women behave to submissive men arrogantly, disdainfully, disparagingly, coldly, tersely, in an abrupt manner etc etc. Even on occasions where there is no BDSM, even in normal social circumstances. And then you begin seriously ask about their motives to be dominant and about their relation to men en bloc.

  IF THE MEDIA WAS INVENTED CENTURIES AGO, THE WORLD WOULD HAVE BEEN A BETTER PLACE... SERIOUSLY. I REMEMBER, AFTER THE FALL OF THE BERLIN WALL END 89, HOW MANY SOULS HAVE BEEN SHOCKED, IN OUR OUR WESTERN EUROPE, TO DISCOVER THAT THERE WERE ACTUALLY POOR PEOPLE IN THE HIDDEN EASTERN EUROPE..., ONLY TO CITE ONE EXAMPLE!
  But who cares about what the media thinks about BDSM? My submissives are weak men wanting to be coerced into expectations and have an orgasm at the idea that I hate them.   Whenever the media exposes or diffames BDSM, it does it a favor. People only fear what they ignore. But give them something well marketed or funnily presented, they will embrace it without hurting their brains.   I, personally, want more movies with flogging scenes, like Casino Royale, . Give Me that Daniel Craig in James Bond, anywhere, anytime! And many lifestylers have loved Bree's husband BDSM session in Desperate Housewives, even if they don't watch THAT show at Harvard's!
  BDSM is rarely made ugly in movies, except in Cops/crimes special-victims- whatever-kind, when they profile a serial killer with Sado Masochistic tendencies.   My point was to post some myths and then the facts. I do agree that a real BDSM relationship, one that is based on trust, open continued communication and always SSC, grows into the most beautiful of relationships. And what the all mighty buck earned by those big boys and women gives back to those who are just learning or new to the lifestyle, are myths and misconceptions for the most part.

  I think that BDSM is just the most beautifull and intimate thing whatever you can experience with your partner.
  
  Why? The ultimate trust in each other to under go pain or lust in such a manner that you are completely in the hands of the other one. He or She can do what she wants witin the limits which are only known by the playing partners.
  
  So if you see a "session" or a "play" between a Dominant and a sub you can be sure both are heving fun.
  
  However the material found on the Internet and what regurlarly is seen on television series or films BDSM is always some dark and black and certainly "wrong" But the big guys of these shows know that everebody likes the unknown the bizar and thats big bucks nowadays.
